Podcast Delayed: Vista Responsible
March 31st, 2008
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to record the podcast last night because my Vista laptop has gone haywire. I’m not sure what the problem is or how to fix it, but hopefully tonight we have a workaround and you’ll have your podcast tomorrow, just in time for April Fool’s Day! Sorry about the delay, but I’ll make it up to you with a fun post later today.
Problem found!
touche, Andrew. I agree, Vista IS a problem as I’ve said in the past. It seems it’s just my account for the time being, so I’ll just log in as my wife and record the podcast, and deal with the problem later.
You have the best wife. She is all like, “Oh honey, you messed up your account, so just log in as me. I’m going to do the dishes and clean the house while you do your podcast, ok?”
vista rocks it’s smart!
have you desided on a time limit for the podcast yet
It looks like the time limit is zero according to this podcast! ^_^
Oooooh, burn.
But anyway, my HP laptop runs Vista and aside from more security than I’d like, it’s works great. No complaints to speak of yet and I’ve had it for a couple months now.
I hate Vista. And its not like Macs where I say “It’s too user friendly”. It’s because it purports to be user friendly when in reality IT’S THE COMPUTER ANTI-CHRIST!!!! Vista has caused me soooooooooooo many problems, I can’t remember them all (I should start making a list). You realize that by running Vista, you’ve basically cut your processor speed in half to run it, because it encodes and decodes everything. I’m going to downgrade the next chance I get (which is probably after finals…) (*sigh…*)
Vista is quite annoying, I’ve gotten used to it, but it’s hardly the best OS ever.
So…. Podcast?
Andrew is impatient!
