Mario Kart Wii Box Art Alternatives

My disapproval of the official Mario Kart Wii box art has been well documented in the past. While it’s no IGN watermark debacle, we were inspired by Capcom’s offering of alternative covers for Okami, and figured we’d do the same for Mario Kart Wii on behalf of Nintendo. Ray has already picked his favorite, printed it on photo paper, and slipped it into his Mario Kart Wii game case (can you guess his favorite?). I thought we should make the whole wraparound artwork, but really, there’s nothing wrong with the side or the back, JUST THE FRONT. You can download Ray’s alternative covers after the break!
Hmm… something is a little off on that last one… Maybe it has something to do with the sky being a rather ugly yellow.

If you invert the colors on either of the first two, it appears as if Mario … um…. hit a Goomba, maybe? =]

Looks like Bowser has the race on the cover locked up. He has the blue shell, and Mario is about to hit a bom-omb.

There. If you want it easier to fit in, just print that. It has the standard side and back(courtesy of http://www.thecoverproject.net/index.php) all together with Ray’s new cover.
i don’t get the boxart. i mean, WTF, why the hell are they driving invisible carts. it’s as if they were advertising the wheel and not mario kart. But than again this is not your fathers mario kart.
Can someone please explain how to download and print these? Every time I try, it comes out too big. MS paint is not enough to fix this.
You could use something like Paint.NET or GIMP, both of which are free downloads.
I have gimp, it just confuses me. I think I have it done now, thanks!
