Yeah, I’m really glad Wii Motion Plus is coming out soon because I’m a bit tired of that erratic movement you sometimes get when using the Wii remote. It’s depth perception is pretty bad as well. I’m surprised we’ve all put up with it. Unfortunately, I doubt everyone will be taking advantage of Wii Motion Plus and therefore many of the games will continue to have horrible controls until Nintendo decides to start selling the Wii remotes with Wii Motion Plus.
Query: I’m thinking of starting to write some reviews from time to time. Think you guys would host reviews or this nature from your community? Just a thought.
I might be willing to contribute as well…though a good percentage of mine would probably be in video format….
I think I’d be handling the games many of you all are too sissy to play like Silent Hill Homecoming (nearly done). Just a friendly jest.
Ray, I really enjoy your reviews. I feel like i get more out of it than reviews from other sources. The “Reviewer’s Completion:” at the end is a nice touch, too. If only more people would write reviews as useful as yours.
No need to jest. It is true after all. XD
Hey thanks, cramill. I always wonder how much of the game the reviewer actually played, and I think everyone deserves to know…
Actually, I was wondering about writing some reviews as well. I mean, it’s cool if you guys just want to write reviews yourselves. Come to think of it, if you allowed me (and Sheppy) to write reviews, a lot of other people would want to as well. So maybe it’s not a good idea. 🙁 Oh well.
True, it might turn this into gamefaqs…not that’s necessarily a bad thing though…
I don’t know. Gamefaqs reviews are pretty bad. IF they do it, it shoudl stick to the standard format put forward by current reviews. I’m almost done with Silent Hill Homecoming and was going to put on together for my CAG account regardless.
I think the hardest thing would be maintaining a certain enthusiasm for what you’re reviewing (aka, someone who hates JRPGs shouldn’t exactly make a review for Chrono Trigger) but being able to maintain a distance and talk of the problems inherent in the game.
