Downloading now. 😀
Just listened to it! This was a hillarious episode, one of my favorite! The volleyball lines cracked me up. The klondike part, amazing, but i think it was a bit overdone by the end. For some reason, I was just bursting out laughing at the long rise from your grave, and Tim and Jon kept repeating everything. I don’t even know what Ray was saying I was laughing too hard. Great Podcast!
Haha, nice. Though I got a little lost on those tangents; I could’ve used a …. ::looks around:: … sine ::cough::
Disappointed to hear that about Excitebike. I was kind of hoping to hear Tim’s take on the game. I might still get it some time down the road. I actually used to play the original in the arcades* all the time.
*
you kids out there still know what arcades are, right?
As I just came out of a math class today, I can’t pass this up. Forgive me if I butcher logic and reasoning:
The sin of A is equal to opposite over the hypotenuse.
In other terms, sin A = opposite/hypotenuse.
Therefore, does sin Ray = Jonpposite/Timpotenuse?
Where did THAT come from???
Oh this was great. The topics really don’t illicit much response from me, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t enjoyable to listen to. Spiffy Podcast Guys. (Rouge)
This is officially my favorite 2P Start! podcast. But now my gut hurts from laughing so much, and for that, Tim, Ray, and Jon, I demand that you give me a Klondike bar. Please?
And by the way, there isn’t a Klondike bar app, but there is this. Same general concept.

Cool. My first musical misfits. Good podcast.
Awesome podcast; really funny stuff! The Klondike bit may have dragged a wee bit long, but otherwise the segments seemed to go at a pretty brisk pace. I was actually expecting a little more discussion on the comic, but you had plenty of other worthy material to cover so that was understandable. Plus, it’s always fun to have a good guest on the show and Jon provided some great humor and variety. Maybe the podcast should become 3P Start!?
(This has to be made for the next voting campaign)
Don’t vote for Ray, for he is SEXIST: [cue edited clip]
“They only press one button and vacuuming (do do do do dodo)”
according to this audio clip, Ray thinks all women have to do is press one button and vacuum, while he is wrong, they have to do a lot more.
Voters Do not vote for Ray, Vote for Tim. A true family man and visionary.
*Tim, add your approval here*
(By the way, did you guys get my guest comic I e-mailed you guys?) 🙂
Man that was so funny. It seems like your podcasts are funnier when you have a guest with you, you should totally hire Jon.
Hilarious podcast, but I will agree that the Klondike bar segment went on too long. Funny, but it felt a little stretched at the end. As for the people who complained about cutting in line, something tells me that they’re the ones who went home, beat the game, and then went online to brag about it. Anyways, great podcast and I can’t remember how long its been since I’ve laughed so hard. Oh wait, last Wednesday…
I didn’t think the Klondike segment went on too long. I thought that part was hilarious.
I found it hilarious too, but I guess I compared it to the lengths of the other segments, which seemed shorter to me. Maybe it’s just my imagination?
Nice Podcast as always! Particularly liked the quick bit about Up toward the start; I completely burst out laughing right there.
Feels a bit odd hearing new songs matched up with the different segments though, but I could get used to it 🙂
Guys! I got the best idea EVAR!1!!!1one!exlamationpoint!!! Klondike bar, on the screen, this screen, with the Klondike bar… on the screen… that you click… yeah. Costant lol on this one guys, and I also like the new Rise From Your Grave music.
How funny would it be if those guys in line are actually devoted 2P Start fans?
Nice podcast guys! I found it very funny. Maybe not as good as the Patapon one or Ray’s anti-Tim ad, but still funny.
If I had a black doom award, I think it would have to go to Gamestop for this. I’ll just leave it to see if you can figure it out…
Also, am I the only one who wonders why Sonic would race in a car? I mean, unless it’s a freakin’ dragster, I think he can probably fun faster than it anyway, and has way better handling. I’m just sayin’.
That’s not a terrible choice, though, but it is stupid.
Anyway, I don’t have much free time any more. Where can I find some of that faster fun? 😛
Well, if you pick up an iPod or iPhone rather than a DS, you can play some smaller games rather then delve into a full fledged game.
He’s racing in this car.
Meh not really bad enough to be a Black Doom. I didn’t even notice the “ownded” until I looked for the error. (darn mental spell-check).
This podcast was awesome on so many levels. You guys rock!
Also, not that I was ever doubting you or anything, but its nice to see that even after 100 episodes you guys are still very entertaining to listen to and make me literally laugh out loud. Thanks for being awesome!
🙂
Up…
I didn’t get it until just now. That movie… it wasn’t bad, though.
Strange people… Got a clearer description?
I would tied my tongue saying that guy’s “Rise from your grave”
All the BDAs are ridiculously hilarious this week.
Nice Podcast Guys!
Hearing about redzero (the last graveriser that technically didn’t rise from his(her?) grave) reminded of me. I posted my first comment before I started listening to the podcast. However, I didn’t say that it was my first comment…so I never got the chance to rise from my grave.
dammit, why didn’t I tell Tim and Ray that when I called in to the podcast.
That was one of the most awesome podcasts I’ve heard. Something changed this week. Edgy, borderline disgusting comic? Judging people? RACISM?!?
Okay, so that last one has been around since the election.
probably agree with most of every comments above by saying it is an awesome episode of 2PLive this week, really hold myself so I kept the laughs inside and didn’t disrupt my roommates trying to explain how awesome a Klondike app would be and such… well that pretty much sums it up, keep up the good work (and 20 minutes if not more were edited out?)
Guys, I got the best idea for an I Phone App! A Klondike bar.. on the i-phenw and when you tap it… it takes a bite!!! Freaking genius!!!
I got a better idea. There is this *insert hated celebrity or supermodel here* on the screen, and by touching the screen you feed her a Klondike bar, and she/he gets fat and loses his/her job because of the extra weight.
I would prefer giving them a punch, or a boot to the head.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5kGUW6M7W0
The Phoenix Wright version of the boot to the head thing is funnier. 🙂
This version isn’t bad, I’d say. Real Human are fun!
Guys, guys, I’ve totally got the best idea EVAR for a comic! This is such an awesome idea, you’ll totally love it! A Klondike bar! And every panel you scroll down there’s a BITE taken out of it!
Okay, so anyway, some pretty good BDAs, and the Klondike sequence, while boring at first, was dragged on so long and over the top that it eventually became funny.
By the way, I got thinking to myself that if there’s any video game webcomic that would be a good fit for the mainstream public, it would be 2Pstart. But then I got thinking to myself, “Wait a minute… mainstream? Most ‘mainstream’ people haven’t even played, much less heard of, a lot of the games we’ve played.” Then I realized, to my horror, what mainstream really meant. “Oh no… No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” I scream, as my mind imagines what 2Pstart would be like if it catered to the Wii Sports/Wi Fit/Bejeweled crowd. Although, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for a comic itself. “What 2Pstart would be like if it were mainstream.” Kind of in the same vein as “What if 2Pstart were daily.” Feel free to try it, if you come up with some good ideas. =D
Oh yeah, and thanks for the comment of the week award… from both of you… whoa! Didn’t expect that. ^_^
Hm. Well, im late. Anyways, better listen now.
YES! RECOGNITION!!! I thank you, for now you have made my day. Anyways, cracked up and nearly fell out of my chair at the Klondyke thing. Also, the whole volleyball segment kind of creeped me out. (Ray, if I were you Id run before Tim gets you also.)
PS I salute you as well. Until Wednessday, Ciao!
DUDE! DUDE!!! DUDE!!! do you know what would be the best iPhone app? a Klondike bar that takes a bite out of it when you tap the screen!!! *gets pelted by friends*
Wow, I think I respect Tim even more. Is he the lead cheerleader too?
Awesome Podcast Guys! It was great to have Jon Watts as a guest once again, and the episode itself was really hilarious. The Klondike discussion, the BDAs, and even the funny Grave Rising makes this easily one of my favorite episodes of 2P START! Live! 🙂
I haven’t read the comic for an incredibly long time, but i might as well rise from my grave. If I remember, my first comic was 127 and my first podcast was 89. I haven’t gotten around to listening to all of the podcasts yet, but I’ve listened to some of them. After hearing this episode (which may be one of the funniest podcast episodes I’ve heard from anybody), I knew that I had to comment.
I for one, am offended. Not all Hispanics are mexicans! Jeezle, I’m bolivian. Whether or not I’m illegal is another question.
It’s curious to most Europeans that Americans consider “Hispanic” to be an ethnic group. After all, it covers an amazingly diverse range of people and cultures, from Mexico, South America, Spain and some scattered former colonies in Africa and assorted islands.
In fact, wikipedia informs us:
The U.S. Office of Management and Budget currently defines “Hispanic or Latino” as “a person of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin, regardless of race”
Also:
Hispanic and Latino Americans may be of any race. Their racial breakdown in 2006 was as follows: 52.3% White; 41.2% “Some other race”; 3.9% Two or more races; 1.4% Black or African American; 0.75% American Indian or Alaska Native; 0.35% Asian; and 0.09% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
So what purpose exactly is the Hispanic ethnic grouping serving?
It’s the easiest way to group anyone that speaks spanish and comes from anywhere south of the US border.
I’m part of that 52% white hispanic, even though my grandpa is super dark.
This podcast made me laugh out loud. My favorite part was in regards to Dreams when Tim responded “So what?”
That was absolutely my favorite part of the show as well. Tim nailed it.
HEY! YO HI GUYS!
well im happy to say im very proud to be: RiSiNg FroM mY GRaVe
Im so very proud to be here, and you guys are AWSOME!!!!!!
p.s. remember batty1580, he is my friend and im glad you FINALLY noticed him.
………..now the problem is will you notice me?……..
Guys, if your reading this, I just feel the need to say, Pokefun has only seen 1 comic and 1.5 podcasts. Be careful. i think hell become a little over-obsessed soon. BEWARE!
WISE FWOM YOUR GWAVE!
Hi! I’m a new listener to 2P Start
LiceLive! I have, however, been reading your webcomic for quite while now, and I’ve always wondered what you guys act like in real life, or proxies thereof. For a suggestion of music to play, I would recommend the music from the second stage of The Ninja Warriors, a little known SNES gem. It has robot ninjas grabbind terrorists by the balls to use as blunt objects against robots.Did Dr. Oswald and Tacos have a kid without telling anyone?
